10 - Your Grumpiness ©

Before speaking to the king
Always bow and sing
Your Grumpiness is awfully kind
And He possesses an exceptional mind
He always makes the right decision
‘Cause Your Grumpiness is the most wonderful
And the greatest Oygoy of them all
We were on our way to the plum patch
Said the tallest one of the two
When we heard the sound of voices
Coming out of the blue
So quickly we hid behind the fuchsias
And waited for the babblers to pass
The noise grew louder, the footsteps closer
When two creatures appeared on the path
Mmm, Now tell me what did they look like
These creatures you are speaking of?
So said the king as he turned to the queen
Who was nibbling on a tangerine
Chorus
Well, one was a 4-legged beast
The other, a tall skinny troll
A four-legged beast? interrupted the king
That would be grand for the ball
I want you to bring them to me
And you shall receive a reward
For I am the king and this is what I want
Now go and be back before dawn
The queen who had been listening
Said ‘What will you do with a beast, my dear?”
“Well, I don’t need it but I must have it
Because I haven’t got one”
Your grumpiness is awfully wise
And he possesses infallible eyes
He always makes the right decision
‘Cause Your Grumpiness is the most wonderful
And the greatest Oygoy of them all
